About.

My name is Rachel and I started That’s What She Fixed so people, but especially women, can have a positive experience having repairs done to their homes. In the handyman business, clear, timely communication and consideration are too often overlooked. I want to make sure you understand the repairs that are happening to your home so that you can make informed decisions and be included in each step of the process.

I joined the military back in 2008. First the Marines and now the Air Force. If there are two things Marines care about, it’s punctuality and attention to detail. I have been able to carry those things with me, but after joining the Air Force I was able to switch gears (and chill out a bit). I have done lots of introspection and have realized that life is about the small things. One of those things is helping people. Another is to repair things. Being able to take something broken and turn it into a beautiful product, something that I really can be proud of is the job of my dreams. I take pride in my work and I stand behind what I do.

You shouldn’t have to worry about people doing unsatisfactory work and hiding it or taking your money and not finishing the job.

It is important to me to figure out how I can help repair or improve your home to be just the way you want it to be.
